Nobody should go to the hospital alone
Mrafqk is a Saudi booking platform that puts a licensed nurse beside a patient for the parts of healthcare that happen outside the treatment room: the waiting, the paperwork, the travel, and the long hours when family cannot be there.
Why we built it
In most families one person ends up carrying every hospital trip. They take the day off, sit through the waiting, try to remember what the doctor said, and do it again next week.
Hiring help privately means trusting a stranger with a parent, with no way to check who they are. Mrafqk exists to make that choice a safe one.
How we work
- Every companion is a registered nurse
- We accept a nursing licence, a registration certificate, or an equivalent recognised nursing credential, and nothing else.
- Credentials are checked by hand
- A person on our team reviews every document before an account can accept a single booking. Nothing is approved automatically.
- The role is deliberately non-clinical
- Companions accompany, assist, and coordinate. They do not diagnose, prescribe, or give medication, and they never replace the hospital's own staff.
- You see who you are getting
- Photo, rating, and reviews before you confirm, in-app chat during the booking, and a written report when it ends.
Where we are going
We would rather do one city properly than five badly, so the order is deliberate.
Now
Riyadh, with seven kinds of booking, in Arabic and English.
Next
More Saudi cities, starting with the ones our companions and families ask for most.
After that
More kinds of support around the same idea, including longer-term arrangements for families who need a companion regularly rather than once.
We do not announce a city until companions there have been verified and can actually take a booking.
